In 2001, Tracey qualified as an orthodontist and in 2006 opened Pure orthodontics in Moonee Ponds. Tracey loves being an orthodontist and thinks it’s one of the most rewarding jobs on the planet! She really enjoys getting to know her patients and says that one of the best things about her job is watching her patients confidence grow as their teeth straighten.
Tracey obtained both her Dental Science degree and her Masters Degree in Orthodontics at The University of Melbourne. She has reviewed several books and articles for The Australian Orthodontic Journal and the prestigious American journal, The Angle Orthodontist. She has also held a clinical teaching position at The University of Melbourne and is involved in the seminar programme for the current group of orthodontic students.
Tracey has given lectures locally, interstate and overseas, and regularly attends orthodontic conferences which keep her up to date with the latest developments in her field. She holds professional memberships with the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the Australian Dental Association, and the World Federation of Orthodontists. She is a registered specialist orthodontist with the Dental Board of Australia and is a past President of the Victorian Branch of the Australian Society of Orthodontists.
In her spare time, she loves being with her husband and her three beautiful children. She also enjoys cooking, being creative, and exercising. She does sometimes struggle with the latter!
Albert is a born and bred Sydneysider who has made the successful migration to Melbourne. He graduated from the University of Sydney, with honours in his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. Following graduation, Albert spent five years practising general dentistry, working at private practices around Sydney as well as the Westmead Dental Hospital. His interest in orthodontics developed while undertaking continuing dental education courses. Following this passion, he completed a three year postgraduate orthodontic specialist program at The University of Adelaide. He also successfully completed the examinations for the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons and the Edinburgh Membership in Orthodontics.
While working with patients and helping them achieve a functional bite and smile is an important part of orthodontics, Albert gets the most satisfaction from being able to provide a gentle and enjoyable treatment experience to even the most nervous of patients. Watching their confidence develop while the teeth straighten is priceless.
Outside of orthodontics, Albert is just as busy at home with his three young daughters. And when time permits, traveling and discovering trendy food places with his wife. Albert is also a keen motoring enthusiast with a secret hope to be “discovered” as the next big Formula 1 driver!

We’re very pleased to advise that restrictions around dental practices have been relaxed and we can now see many of you in our clinic!.
Please bear in mind that it is NOT quite business as usual as some procedures are still off limits.
We'll be in touch with you prior to your appointment if the current restrictions affect you.
